Ulises, a 17-year-old Mexican boy, is forced to migrate to the U.S. after a misunderstanding with a local Cartel. He leaves behind what defines him: his gang and the Cumbia parties that he loves.

A powerful film introducing us to the the extravagant and fascinating urban tribe Cholombianos existing in Monterrey, crazy about music from Colombia and Caribbean. These Cumbia regia lovers, while being misfits in their own city, still other youngsters get enthralled by their dancing and parties, but mostly by their surprising aesthetics, quirky haircuts, bastard fashion and cool attitude.

“I Am No Longer Here” is a deep engaging story, that transmits with a great pulse the mixed feelings of an immigrant and the stranded feeling that a human being can have in his or her own planet.
