Baltic Premiere

United Kingdom, 2017, Natasha Tonkin

A young woman visits her family. Over the weekend tensions flare, whilst technology provides an easy respite. As Kerri’s gaze shifts from the screen, she discovers a deeper kind of connection.

"The Stranger" In My Head

„Stranac“ u mojoj glavi"

Croatia, 2017, Petra Balekić

The film is in a sense a reconstruction of the book The Stranger written by Albert Camus. I've read that book 12 years ago. I mostly remember the influence the book left on me and the atmosphere it created, but when it comes to characters and action in it, there remain only fragments. So I tried to give those fragments some context for this short animation.

Sog

After a flood, some fish got stuck in old trees. In danger of drying-out they scream sharply. Woken up by the noise, the inhabitants of a nearby cave don't feel happy about the unintended gathering.
