Butterflies

Cemal, Kenan and Suzi are siblings who grew up in a tiny Turkish village. They have grown apart since leaving home, going their separate ways. After 30 years of silence, they get an unexpected call from their father, who demands they return immediately. They set off on a nostalgic journey during which they will learn a lot, mainly about themselves. An inventive, warm dark comedy that promises the unexpected: from an astronaut to exploding chickens. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance 2018 and awards at a number of other festivals, including Istanbul and Ankara.
