Why is this world like it is? Did someone created it? Why are we here? We have all asked ourselves questions like this. Is there any chance that we will ever find out the truth?
Raivo Hein, an Estonian amateur astronomer, is a strong believer in science and loves outer space. He has published a book of pictures he has taken of the cosmos, and held exhibitions. In order to get closer to the object of his desire, he has registered himself for a space flight on the Virgin Galactic Space Ship. Unfortunately, preparations have taken longer than expected and his patience is being tried.
In this film, astrophysicists, philosophers, men of faith, romanticists and sceptics, and Raivo discuss what that truth is. Is the Holy Trinity "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" or "Science, Proof and Fact"? It is obvious that what we here think as we bustle about is all the same to the Universe, and maybe all our efforts to understand it only serves to give our lives a tragic dignity.
